Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"During my stay in Florence, this got to be my most authentic local feel Italian restaurant. When we arrived, the place was packed with locals. We are nervous at first. A lovely young lady was able to talk a little bit of English. After reviewing the menu, they offer a set menu for 15 or 20euro. I take the 20euro, which included two entree side dishes and wine. The two entrees i got were pasta with truffle and grill pork chop and grill vegetables. The house red wine comes in a craft equal to two glasses, maybe more. Both my main dishes are good portion and very well prepared. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu. It was also a hit. This is my must visit restaurant in Florence."
"What a fabulous restaurant with 1st rate food and bargain price set menus. Highly recommended"
"We had a great experience at this trattoria. It offers simple, traditional, and delicious Italian food at a great price. It was exactly what I was looking for after a day of walking around Florence. If you want to experience authentic and simple Florentine cuisine, I highly recommend it."
"Great value for their lunch set menu! The lasagna and spaghetti carbonara alla mare were delicious, as well as their grilled eggplant and spinach side dishes. We were full for the whole day!"
"The food was extremely delicious, maybe the tastiest food I’ve had in Florence. There is a fixed price option $20 for two courses, a side, a drink, and water or a $15 option which is the same minus one course. The staff was kind and I felt that I couldn’t go wrong with the food."
"This has been the best food and atmosphere we’ve experienced in Italy so far. After five days here, this place stands out for its warm, welcoming vibe—locals were dining there too, which added to the charm. The service was exceptional; they took the time to explain several dishes to us with genuine care and patience"
"Best food that we've had in Italy. I had beef stew and veggies. My husband had Paccheri with gorgonzola and zucchini. Both of our meals were outstanding! The gorgonzola was perfection, not the borderline spoiled type you find all over the states. I would eat here again in a heart beat! This place deserves 5 stars."
"During our two day visit to Florence we ate here twice. It was fantastic. The fixed price menu is great and they give large portions of food (and wine). We will definitely be recommending this spot to others who plan trips to Florence. You simply cannot beat the value! For €24 my husband got the attached dishes, water and wine. They also give a basket of bread."
